India's domestic sugar sales quota falls to 2.40 million tonnes in July

Gold Ten Futures, June 27, according to foreign media reports, the Indian Ministry of Food issued an announcement saying that the domestic sugar sales quota for July 2024 is 2.40 million tons, the same as the same period last year. The quota will take effect from July 1, 2024. In June 2024, the domestic sugar sales quota in India is 2.55 million tons. Market experts said that after the quota announcement, the sugar price in the Indian domestic market may rise by 15-20 rupees/commons.
